BREAKING ACADEMY NEWS;

• The Fire Academy will begin pre-applications for the August 2012 Firefighter I & II program on March 26, 2012 at 0800.
• Check the Academy Calendar often for recent additions
• The cost of the physical agility exam (Practice and/or Test) is $25.00, payable the day of the practice and/or test.
• Ridge Fire Academy Challenge Coins will be in soon;

TUITION FEE INCREASE:  Effective: 7/1/2011

Tuition for continuing education classes is $5.30 per hour.

Tuition for Job Prep classes is $2.65 per hour.

• 1 scholarship of $1472.40
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Student MUST be from Polk County and attending Ridge Fire Academy
• Additional Essay required:  "Why I want to be a Fire Fighter".
